Description: This talk will review the role of physical therapy for people with Parkinsons disease and how to redefine the relationship with your physical therapist into the role of a health and exercise coach. Your physical therapist presenters, Angela Rusher of Kaiser and Samuel Merritt and Jason Hardage of Samuel Merritt, will address specific functional mobility concerns related to people with Parkinsons, including balance systems, fall prevention, evidence-based exercise principles, and specific recommendations for a targeted exercise and wellness program.
